How to Calculate Your Destiny Matrix

Follow the Ladini Classic 22 formula to convert a birth date into a reproducible 22 Arcana chart with base points, channels and purpose positions.

Calculation and interpretation are different

Calculation is repeatable arithmetic. Interpretation is a symbolic reading of the resulting positions; it is not a scientific, psychological or medical diagnosis.

The reduce22 rule

Values from 1 to 22 remain unchanged. When a value is greater than 22, add its decimal digits and repeat only if the result is still above 22.

  • reduce22(21) = 21
  • reduce22(39) = 12
  • reduce22(1995) = 6

Base positions

Day, month and year create the four outer points and the main centre.

  • A = reduce22(day)
  • C = month
  • E = reduce22(sum of year digits)
  • G = reduce22(A + C + E)
  • I = reduce22(A + C + E + G)

Ancestral square

The diagonal points connect neighbouring base values.

  • B = reduce22(A + C)
  • D = reduce22(C + E)
  • F = reduce22(E + G)
  • H = reduce22(G + A)

Inner channels

Cardinal channels use the main centre, while ancestral channels use the centre of the ancestral square.

  • A2 = reduce22(A + I)
  • A1 = reduce22(A + A2)
  • I1 = reduce22(B + D + F + H)
  • B2 = reduce22(B + I1)
  • B1 = reduce22(B + B2)
  • …the same pattern applies to D, F, and H

Love, money and karmic tail

These readings use ordered sequences; the order is part of the methodology.

  • karmic tail = G2–G1–G
  • relationship = G2–FL–F3
  • money = F3–FR–E2
  • F3 = reduce22(G2 + E2)

Purpose positions

Personal, social, spiritual and planetary positions are derived from paired axes.

  • Sky = reduce22(C + G)
  • Earth = reduce22(A + E)
  • Personal = reduce22(Sky + Earth)
  • Social = reduce22(Male + Female)
  • Spiritual = reduce22(Personal + Social)

Health map

Each chakra row contains physical, energy and emotion values. Emotion is the reduced sum of the first two values.
